Trunq is based in Malibu, California. Owners Dallas Hitchcock and Matt McPherson met while attending Pepperdine University. While at Pepperdine Dallas and Matt played waterpolo for the NCAA championship waterpolo team. It was here that they developed the teamwork that has allowed Trunq to become the company that it is today.

Dallas and Matt have been avid surfers their whole lives. They both grew up in the Southern California area surfing all up and down the coast. It was from this love of surfing that Trunq was created.

Trunq's first product the Trunq Sport Utility Box was created as a way to clean up the mess and clutter that accompanies an outdoor adventure lifestyle.  To satisfy this need Trunq" designed a product to make the trip to the local break or river more organized, secure and hassle free.  The Trunq Sport Utility Box eliminates the mess in your car, keeps all your surf gear consolidated, and makes the overall travel experience more enjoyable.  The convenience of Trunq products allow outdoor enthusiasts to focus on the search for great waves rather than wasting time searching for gear.
